Maria Yvonne Covilli Dellinger, 95, passed away Saturday night surrounded by family and caregivers. Yvonne was born June 10, 1922, in Castagneto, Italy, and she immigrated to America in 1929 at age 7 on a transatlantic voyage with her parents aboard the SS Île de France. She leaves four children and five grand children: Deborah Dellinger Ray (Barham) of Memphis and their children Barham and Beverley; Dr. Sharon Dellinger Hopkins (John) of Jackson; Barbara Gene Dellinger Jackson (Gene) of Cincinnati; and, Edward Covilli Dellinger (Janet) of Memphis and their children Elaine, Carolyn, and William.
