William E. Keltner Obituary

William Ed Keltner, 89, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, June 5, 1930 in Ripley, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Elmer Keltner and the late Elvie Roberts Keltner. He was retired from the United States Air Force after twenty five years of service with the rank of Staff Sergeant.  After his service to his country he became the radio dispatcher for the Ripley Police Department, retiring in 1993.

Funeral services for Mr. Keltner will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Ronnie Turner.  Visitation will be 10;00 AM until service time on Saturday, August 10, 2019.   Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

He is survived by two daughters, Terry Renea Wilkerson (Walter) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Vanessa Kaye Clark (Monte) of Waverly, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Jamie Dye of Newbern, Tennessee, Leaha Garrison (Daniel) of Newbern, Tennessee, Evan Wilkerson of Mississippi and Derek Clark of Waverly, Tennessee, Brandy Clark of Hollywood, Florida and four great-grandchildren, Allie Grace Wilson, Alex McCrea Dye, Briley Kate Garrison and Jayden Alexander Clark.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife,  Mary Nell Land Keltner and one sister, Jean Barnes.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Garrison, Alan Dunevant, Mark Wilkerson, Jack Hill, Larry Wakefield and Jimmy Land. Honorary pallbearer will be Garland Kissell.
