Vonda Lou Pierce Wilson

Vonda Lou Pierce Wilson, 79, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at her residence in Dyersburg,Tennessee.

Born Friday, May 5, 1939, in Dyer County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late William "Dude" Pierce and the late Ethel Hall Pierce. She was a retired employee of City Drug and a member of East Dyersburg United Methodist Church but was presently attending Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Monday, June 25, 2018, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Dale Mills. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg,Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday, June 24, 2018, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Wilson McLaughlin (Mike); one son, Terry Lynn Wilson, both of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two brothers, Joe Isaac Pierce (Judy) of Newbern, Tennessee and Terry Hall Pierce (Glenda) of Ridgely, Tennessee; five sisters, Silby Pierce Joslin (Fentress), Anita Pierce Essary, Mary Pierce Keeling (Jackie), Janice Pierce Montgomery (Mike), and Rochelle Pierce Pruett (Barry) all of Dyersburg, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Caleb McLaughlin, Steven McLaughlin, Chloe McLaughlin, Nicole Wilson and James Terry Wilson; and four great-grandchildren, Allyssa Wilson, Amaya Johnson, Kennedy Wilson and Lilly Jones.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Wilson; two sisters, Gloria Pierce Johnson and Martha Pierce Viar and one brother, William Junior Pierce,

Pallbearers will be Barry Pruett, Jake Pruett, Jeff Johnson, Lynn Johnson, Billy Pierce, Monty Essary, Andy Wheeler, Jonathan Wheeler and James White.
