Virginia Plew Wattam, 95,of Paris, Tennessee died on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, December 23, 1923 in Newbern, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Cody Adams and the late Mary Augusta Tubbs Adams.

Graveside services for Mrs. Wattam will be 10:00 AM on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee.

She is survived by one son, Phillip Dean Plew of Boquete, Panama; one sister, Helen Chitwood of Nashville, Tennessee and a grand-daughter, Deana Michelle Hatley of Lenoir City, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Elbert Earl Plew and C. R. Wattam, Jr. and one son, Frederick Plew.
