Vesta Joyce Ozment

Vesta Joyce Ozment, 72, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, June 28, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, May 7, 1947 in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Watson "Dub" Cook and the late Clestia May Fox Cook. Ms. Ozment was a retired registered nurse with Dyersburg Regional Medical Center

Graveside services for Ms. Ozment will be 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Scott Anderson. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.

She is survived by one son, David Brian Luckett of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sisters, Jennie Fitzgerald of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Angeline Bell of Troy, Tennessee and Carolyn Dale Wren of Independence, Kansas.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip Cook and Johnny Cook and four sisters, Edna Ann Cohrn, Dinah Hughes, Darlene Rickman and Marsha Wolfe.

Ms. Ozment asked that In lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
