Velma Juanita Johnson

Velma Juanita Johnson, 81 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Monday, March 26, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare-Dyersburg Regional in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, October 13, 1936 in Waverly, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Green Berry Kee and the late Cora Mae Cagle Kee. Mrs. Johnson was a retired private duty patient care.

Graveside services for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Neely's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by one son, Johnny Wade Pilkenton (Carolyn Weeks) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Delaine Dial (Steve) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Tracy Wade Pilkenton of Trenton, Tennessee, Christy Dawn Cook (Chris) of Paris, Tennessee, Jason Ray Pilkenton (Courtney) of Virginia and Brandon Isiah Pilkenton (Amanda) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Buford D. Pilkenton and Clifford Wilson Johnson; one son, Danny Wayne Pilkenton; one grand-daughter, Chasity Tiann Pilkenton; five brothers, Thomas Kee, Wallace Kee, Lloyd Kee, James Kee and Arthur Kee and three sisters, Bertha Curtis, Mary Pirtle and Allene Dunn.
