Stephen Lyn Fair, Sr.

Stephen Lyn Fair, Sr.,48 of Rutherford, Tennessee died on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at his residence in Rutherford, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, May 6, 1970 in Dyer county, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Clarence Fair, Jr. and Linda Burns Landrum. Mr. Fair was an office supervisor for Jones Manufacturing and a member of the First Baptist Church in Rutherford, Tennessee. Stephen was always determined to put a smile on everyone's faces. He loved people with all of his heart and saw through peoples flaws. He will be remembered for his love, laughter, caring and kindness. His sons will remember him as being their best fishing buddy and a fantastic grill master.

Graveside services for Mr. Fair will be 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Richard Pool. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by three sons, Matthew Jacob Burges of Lehigh Acres, Flordia, Stephen Lyn Fair, Jr. and Jonathan Joseph Fair both of Camendton, Missouri; his mother and step-father, Linda and Don Landrum of Rutherford, Tennessee; four brothers, Timothy Fair of Newbern, Tennessee, Philip Seratt of Winston, Georgia, Clarence "Chuck" Fair, III of Pace, Flordia and Dwayne Fair of Newbern, Tennessee and one grand-daughter, Madelynn Grace Burges.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Darrell Fair.

Pallbearers will be family.
