Sarah Lee Craig Mitchell

Sarah Lee Craig Mitchell, 84 of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Obion, Tennessee, died on Friday, April 19, 2019, at her residence in Chicago, Illinois.

Born Friday, December 21, 1934 in Obion, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Fred Craig and the late Alice Carter Craig. Mrs. Mitchell was a home-maker.

Graveside services for Mrs. Mitchell will be 2:30 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at New Salem Cemetery in Mason Hall, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Rick Isbell and Ms. Skylar Mulhearn. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Mitchell Mulhearn (Jay) and Sherry Reyes (Carlos) all of Chicago, Illinois ; one son, Gregory Mitchell of Chicago, Illinois; six grandchildren, Charles Seitz, Samantha Mulhearn, Skylar Mulhearn, Alyssa Mulhearn ,Patrick Mulhearn and Mialma Mitchell and two great-grandchildren, Noah and Sophie.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mitchell; one son, Austin Mitchell, one sister, Reba Brinkley and three brothers, Pete Craig, Frank Craig and Joe Craig.
