Ruth I. Ballard

Ruth I. Ballard, 94 of Owensboro, Kentucky died on Friday, May 17, 2019, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Born Thursday, March 12, 1925 in Cullman, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Freeman and the late Annie Whitlow  Freeman. Mrs. Ballard was a home-maker.
Graveside services for Mrs. Ballard will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Zion Cemetery in Elbridge, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She is survived by two sons, Ray Ballard and Billy Ballard both of Owensboro, Kentucky; four daughters, Linda Faye Pollack of Trenton, Tennessee,  Brenda Jean Simrell of Hornbeak, Tennessee, Diane Hanks of Medina, Tennessee and Janice Ashley of Mississippi; one sister, Bertha Smith of Florida and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Ballard and one daughter, Dorothy Louise Hatfield.
