Ricky Lyndon Whitlow

Ricky Whitlow, 59 of Obion, Tennessee died on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at his residence in Obion,Tennessee.

Born Monday, May 19, 1958, in Lake County, Tennessee. He was the son of late Raymond Brown Whitlow, Sr. and the late Sharon Ethelene Ables Whitlow. Mr. Whitlow was a farmer who formally employed for Cherry and Biggs, LLC for many years.

Graveside services for Mr. Whitlow will be held 1;00 PM on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Zion Cemetery in Elbridge, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Mr. Patrick Williams.. Visitation will be Monday from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife,Tammy Marie Roberson of Obion, Tennessee; one daughter, Misty Dawn Pearson (Heath) of Hornbeak, Tennessee; one son, Jimmy Lee Whitlow of Obion, Tennessee; three step-daughters, Natalie Shipman (T. J.), Keri Whitley (Ricky) and Savannah Whitley all of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three daughters by choice, Neioka Bastin (Jeff) of Trimble, Tennessee, Regina Whitlow of California and Sharon Whitlow of Washington; two brothers, Jackie Whitlow of Obion, Tennessee, and Raymond Whitlow, Jr. (Lori) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Teresa Shed (Jimmy) of Pasadena, Texas; his mother-in-law, Peggy Roberson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two brother-in-laws, James Roberson (Terry) of Friendship, Tennessee and Ricky Roberson (Pam) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one grand-daughter, Destanie Dean; sixteen step-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Whitlow; two sisters, Linda Jean Whitlow and Lisa Elaine Whitlow; one son by choice, Chucky Whitlow and his father-in-law, Nathaniel Roberson.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Whitlow, Jr., Jackie Whitlow, Jeff Bastin, Heath Pearson, Ricky Roberson and  Robert Ables. Honorary pallbearer will be Steve Costi.
