Rickey Alan Dennison

Rickey Alan Dennison entered into his heavenly home on Sunday, September 22, 2019.  He was born on November 5, 1958 to W. F. (Tom) and Dorothy Dennison.  Rickey is survived by two children, Emilee Dennison and Rickey Dennison; one grandchild, Lucy Dennison; his mother, Dorothy Dennison; his sisters, Nancy Maupin (Jerry) and Michelle McClain (Ron); two nieces, Lyndsay Maupin and Deven McClain; three nephews, Barry Maupin, Thomas Dennison and Grayson McClain and several great nieces and nephews. 
    He was preceded in death by his father, W.F. (Tom) Dennison; three brothers, Tommy, Jeff and Dennis Dennison; one niece, Carrie Johnson; maternal grandparents, Otis McManus, Carmen and Cleve Newell; paternal grandparents, Earl and Lola Dennison.
    Rickey was a third generation in making the handmade Dennison duck call.  His grandfather, Mr. Earl, started making the Stradivarius duck call almost a hundred years ago.  Rickey's dad (Tom) worked with his dad (Mr. Earl) until his death with Rickey learning the trade from them.
    Visitation for Rickey will be Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.  A memorial service officiated by Jimmy Newell will follow.
