Randy Lee Parnell, 57, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Friday, November 1, 2019, at his residence in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born, Septembert 5, 1962 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Max Junior Parnell and Dorothy Busby French. Mr. Parnell was a retired farmer.

Graveside services for Mr. Parnell will be 3:30 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Rives, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Perry Grills. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy French of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three brothers, Richard Parnell of Mason Hall, Tennessee, Butch Parnell (Melissa) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and PeeWee Parnell of Union City, Tennessee; one sister, Fay Parnell of Dyersburg, Tennessee; half-brother, Gary Parnell of Florida; step-brother, Lawrence French of Union City, Tennessee; special friend, Gene Autry and the entire Autry family and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Max Junior Parnell and his step-father, L. C. French.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Grills, Darrell Autry, Larry Autry, Gerald Autry, Jack Grills and Joseph Autry.
