Phillip Shane Flowers

Phillip Shane Flowers, 66 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Monday, May 12, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Joseph Edward Flowers and the late Elaine Flatt Flowers. He was a retired electrician with Kiwitt. Mr. Flowers was a member of IBEW for over thirty five years and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Funeral services for Mr. Flowers will be 2:00 PM on Monday, November 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. David Patrick Flowers officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Flowers will be Monday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Jones Flowers of Newbern, Tennessee; three sons, Jason Puckett (Joni) of Friendship, Tennessee, David Flowers (Laurissa) of Rancho Santa Margarita, California and Adam Flowers (Heather) of Flora, Mississippi; two, brothers, Joe Flowers (Marilyn) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and David Patrick Flowers (Phyllis) of Fair Oaks, California; one sister, Anna Gaubatz of Vancouver, Washington and eleven grandchildren, Katelynn Puckett, Sheyanne Puckett, Savannah Puckett, Emma-Claire Flowers, Charlotte Flowers, Madelyn Flowers, Addy Flowers, Chloe Flowers, Owen Flowers, Graham Pepper and John Philip Pepper.

Pallbearers will be Brian Ingram, Eric Henley, Matt Flowers, Paul Newbill, David Flowers, Adam Flowers, Blake Barham and Jason Puckett. Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Freeman.
