Peggy Ann Newman-Jilek

Peggie Ann Newman-Jilek, 71,of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, June 12, 1948 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Newman and the late Virginia Garrett Newman. Mrs. Newman-Jilek was the retired owner of Hair Works in Hickory Hill, Illinois.

Funeral services for Mrs. Newman-Jilek will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Brandon Norton. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by one son, Jeffrey Lynn Anderson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Melissa Kay Lewis of New Port Richey, Florida and Paula Bullington-Hendrick of Clarksville, Tennessee; her companion, Mike Stephens of Union City, Tennessee; one brother, Johnny Newman of Hammond, Indiana; three sisters, Jean Swader and Brenda Roberson both of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Charlotte Newman of Bells, Tennessee and five grandchildren, Trae Hendrick of Clarksville, Tennessee, Danny Kendall of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Krista Hendrick of Clarksville, Tennessee, Raeanne Kendall of Chicago, Illinois and Andrew Guerrieri, Jr. of New Port Richey, Florida.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Jilek and three brothers, Roy Newman, Charles Newman and Glen Newman.
