Norma Linnie Willis Underwood

Norma Linnie Willis Underwood, 79 of Obion, Tennessee formerly of Willisville, Tennessee, died on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her daughters home in Obion, Tennessee.

Born Monday, March 7, 1938 in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Robert Oscar (Mutt) Willis and the late Edith O'Quinn Willis. Mrs. Underwood was the long time owner of the Elbridge Grocery and member of Glendale Church of Christ.

Funeral services for Mrs. Underwood will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Serge Shoemaker and Mr. Johnny Finley. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery in Elbridge, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by one son, Rodney Underwood (Debbie) of Obion, Tennessee; one daughter, Cindy Brock (Rick) of Obion, Tennessee; one brother, Dulan Willis of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; one sister, Lavata Beatty of Newbern, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Tisha Evans, Brooke Keith and Justin Brock all of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Mickey Evans of Newbern, Tennessee and Tyler Underwood, Shane Sanford and Jeremy Sanford all of Obion, Tennessee; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Keith Underwood and three brothers, Tolbert Willis, Emmett Willis and Barnard Willis.

Pallbearers will be Ray Stover, Tony Willis, John Tyler Willis, Richie Cherry, Paul Albright and Kenneth Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Cherry, Tallmadge Brown, Mac Sutton and Larry Albright.
