Mary D. Jayroe

Mary Jayroe, 96, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died Friday, April 12, 2019, at Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Mrs. Jayroe was born on Thursday, September 28, 1922 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late James Edward Deupree and the late Elizabeth Cleage Deupree. She was a former teacher at Dyersburg High School. Mrs. Jayroe was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee and was a member of the McDowell Music Club.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday April 15, 2019 at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee with Rev. Annetta Camp officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Tom Jayroe, II; two sons, Tom Jayroe,III (Billie) of Marietta, Georgia and Jim Jayroe, (Mindy) of Newbern, Tennessee; two daughters, Betty Jones of Amarillo, Texas and Jeanne Fisher(Rick) of Humboldt, Tennessee. One sister, Betty Joplin of Cordova, Tennessee; one brother, Ed Deupree of Horn Lake, Mississippi. Eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, John Deupree.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
