Mary Gatlin

Mary Gatlin, 78 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, October 8, 1940 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Earlie Preslar and the late Katherine Hilliard Preslar. She was a retired employee of Dyersburg Fabrics and member of Emmaus Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gatlin will be 10:30 AM on Monday, November 26, 2018 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. James Hooper. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Jimmy Gatlin of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Randell Gatlin and his wife, Rebecca of Ripley, Tennessee; two daughters, Kimberley Gatlin of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Shelly Viar and her husband, Leon of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sisters, Eloise Berkley and Linda Hicks and her husband,(Jimmy) all of Dyersburg, Tennessee and four grandchildren, Bradley Gatlin, Paige Brewer, Austin Brewer and Ethan Gatlin.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Earlie Preslar, Jr. and one sister, Doris Pinckley.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hicks, Randell Gatlin, Leon Viar, Austin Brewer, Wayne Hulme and Ethan Gatlin.
