Lonnie Louis "PeeWee" Carrell, Jr.

Lonnie Louis "PeeWee" Carrell, Jr., 55, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, September 23, 1964 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of Lonnie Louis Carrell, Sr. and the late Janice Ann Evans Carrell.

Mr. Carrell was a truck driver for Helena Chemical Company and a member of the Newbern Moose Lodge # 2707.

Funeral services for Mr. Carrell will be 11:00 AM on Monday, December 30, 2019 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Mr. Ray Gilliland and Mr. Patrick Williams. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Amy Hooper Carrell of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Niki Muncrief (Jonathan) of Dyersburg, Tennessee: two sons, Eric Allen and Stan Allen both of Newbern, Tennessee; his father, Lonnie Louis Carrell, Sr. of Newbern, Tennessee: one sister, Alycia Solomon (Mike) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and five grandchildren, Josh Dallas, Dalton Muncrief, Makynlee Allen, Lyric Allen and Elyza Allen.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Ann Evans Carrell and his grandparents, Ernest and Martha Haynes and Lonnie B. and Juanita Carrell.

Honoring Mr. Carrell as pallbearers will be Troy Holder, Stanley Switzer, Perry Permenter, Joey Murray, Tim Hassell and Timothy Hassell.
