Leonard Manson Cooper, 87 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, June 17, 1931 in Toone, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Jessie James Cooper and the late Leolia King Cooper. Mr. Cooper was the retired co-owner of Libby's Boatland in Jackson, Tennessee.
Funeral services for Mr. Cooper will be 12:30 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Pastor Jeff Smith. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Weaver (William )of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Judy Sells (Max) of Jackson, Tennessee and Bobbie DeLoach (Ricky) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Larry Cooper of Jackson, Tennessee; two sisters, Vernie Cooper of Bells, Tennessee and Grapel Brown of Jackson, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great- grand children and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Tate Cooper; one son, Billy Cooper; two brothers and two sisters.
