Lawrence Edward Lusk, 77, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Methodist Hospital-Germantown in Germantown, Tennessee.
Born Monday, July 21, 1941 in Cleveland, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Lee Edward Lusk and the late Eula Mae Boyd Lusk Kelly. Mr. Lusk was a retired employee of Trunkline Gas Company and member of Volunteer Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Mr. Lusk will be 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Billy Tucker. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of fifty-three years, Shirley Taylor Lusk of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Renea Fontenot (Rolland) of Houston, Texas; three sons, Lawrence Edward Lusk II, (Kelly) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Lee Taylor Lusk (Gina) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Ashley Lewis Lusk (Izlia) of Naples, Florida; one brother, Lewis Lusk of Cleveland, Mississippi; one sister, Donnie McKenzie of Southaven, Mississippi; eight grandchildren, Justin, Jason, Heather, Anna, Morgan, Lawrence, Mimi and Gabriel and four great- grandchildren, Nathan, Hunter, Nolan Lawrence and Deacon.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Olivia Gilbert.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence Edward Lusk, II, Lee Taylor Lusk, Ashley Lewis Lusk, Justin Girlinghouse, Jason Girlinghouse and Lawrence Lusk, III.
Honorary pallbearers will be retirees of Trunkline Gas.
