Ladie Margritte Simpson, 89 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare-Dyersburg Regional in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Monday, July 2, 1928 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Lee Bellew and the late Myrtle George Bellew. Mrs. Simpson was a home-maker.

Funeral services for Mrs. Simpson will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in the Chapel of the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service is Rev. Bill Phipps. Interment will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery near Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by four sons, Jesse Frank Simpson, Jr. of Grand Blanc, Michigan, Jack Simpson of Burton, Michigan, Larry Gene Simpson of Halls, Tennessee and Steven Simpson of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Brenda Simpson Alvoid of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Mary Frances Tillery of Jackson, Michigan; sixteen grandchildren and thirty three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Frank Simpson; two sons, Terry Gene Simpson and Bobby Glen Simpson; one daughter, Darlene Sue Bryan and two sisters and six brothers.

Pallbearers will be Jason Hicks, Randy Kirkpatrick, Jessie Simpson, Bobby Ward, Jason Foster and Mark Simpson.
