Kathy Ruth Gilliland Laws, 60, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, November 8, 2019, at SSM-St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Born Tuesday, November 11, 1958 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Buford Gilliland and the late Nancy Pearl Hardin Gilliland. She was a floral designer for Blossoms Florist.

Funeral services for Mrs. Laws will be 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Mr. Patrick Williams. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery near Central, Tennessee. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, David Michael Laws of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Hunter Evan Laws (Olivia) of Martin, Tennessee; two daughters, Emily Kate Laws Kirkman (Jordan) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Sarah Abigail Laws of Dyersburg, Tennessee and two sisters, Ann Green (Dickie) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Sue Acree (Ken) of Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Gilliland and one sister, Vondilee Moore.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Kirkman, Brian Burns, Ken Acree, Dickie Green, Kevin Gilliland and Brent Gilliland.
