Julie Higdon

Julie Higdon, 59, of Lenox, Tennessee died on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at the home of her daughter, in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, November 8, 1959 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Lecklitner and the late Polly Ann Smith Lecklitner. She was a baker for The Warped Whisk and member of the Dyer County High School FFA Alumni Association.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the DCHS Ag Pavilion located on the campus of Dyer County High School.

She is survived by two daughters, Krystal Bates of Newbern, Tennessee and Angel Kirk of Lenox, Tennessee; one brother, John Lecklitner of South Carolina and three grandchildren, Noah Bates, Asher Bates and Ember Bates.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her companion of seventeen years, Paul Ed Kirk.
