John Henry Jones

John Henry Jones, 74 of Finley, Tennessee died on Friday, December 28, 2018 in Pocahontas, Arkansas.

Born Monday, December 26, 1944 in Pochaontas, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Edgar Jones and the late Gladys Fuller Jones. He was a retired farmer, commercial fisherman and factory employee. Mr. Jones proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by seven daughters, Charlotte Kimbrell (Johnny Hawks) of Newbern, Tennessee, Tracy Grandberry of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Cheryl Jeffries of Jackson, Tennessee, Chris Garcia (Arturo) of Milan, Tennessee, Toni Wilson of Auburndale, Flordia, Jennifer Jones of Lincoln, Nebraska and Kim Jones of Pocahontas, Arkansas; four sons, Larry Wayne Jones of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Henry Randall Jones (Amanda) of Finley, Tennessee, Edgar Thomas Jones (Julie) of Halls, Tennessee and John Kelly Jones of Pocahontas, Arkansas; four brothers, Willard "Dub"Jones (Rita) of Maynard, Arkansas, Harold "Cotton" Jones (Wanda) of Reyno, Arkansas ,Calvin J. "Jerry" Jones (Violet) of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Ralph "Junior" Jones of Morrilton, Arkansas; one sister, Barbara Jones of Pocahontas, Arkansas; twenty-seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren,

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Jones and ten siblings.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Smith, Matthew Willis, Levi Gentry, Eric Hall, Cole Harrison and Nathan Dupre.
