John Thomas Davis , 63, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Tennova Regional Hospital Of Jackson in Jackson,Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, August 18, 1954, in Dyer County, Tennessee. He was the son of late the R.C. Davis and the late Lubie Eaton Davis. Mr. Davis was a maintenance supervior for Tyson Foods in Newbern, Tennessee.

Funeral services for Mr. Davis will be 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, January 26, 2018, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev.Jerrell Dawson. Interment will follow in Church Grove Cemetery in Newbern,Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2018 from 5:00 P.M.until 8:00 P.M. at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home

He is survived by his wife Wanda Allen Davis of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Heather Davis Trumble of Newbern, Tennessee; three sisters, Alice Wells (Paul) of Newbern, Tennessee, Betty French (Leo) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Ann Whitmoore (Russell) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two brothers, Robert Davis and David Davis both of Dyersburg,Tennessee;one granddaughter Alycia North and two great grandchildren, Laycii North and Ella North,

In addition to his parents Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his grandson, Johnathan Trumble,
