Jo Evelyn Voigt

Jo Evelyn Voigt, 81, of Millington, Tennessee died on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at her residence in Millington, Tennessee.

Born Friday, June 10, 1938 in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Fred Combs and the late Esther Childress Combs.  She was a retired bookeeper of the United States Naval Air Station Recreational Department in Millington, Tennessee and former manager of the VFW in Millington, Tennessee.

Ms. Voigt was a lifetime member of the VFW.

A celebration of life service for Ms. Voigt will be held at 11:00 AM on July 27, 2019, at Harmony Baptist Church in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. James Combs.

She is survived by two sons, Dale Voigt of Millington, Tennessee and Russell Voigt of Millington, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Rebecca Buckner of Goodland, Kansas and one step-son, Michael Erland of Oxford, Mississippi; one brother, Stanley Combs of San Antonio, Texas and seventeen grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Roger Laverne Voigt and Gary Erland; one step-daughter Karen Lawrence and one step-son, Steve Erland and one brother, Terry Combs
