Jimmy Zarecor, 57, of Yorkville, Tennessee died on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at his residence in Yorkville, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, August 2, 1961 in Dyer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Gerald "Jack" Zarecor and the late Georgia Sue Legions Zarecor. He was a retired employee of Goodyear, farmer and co-owner of Z's Greenhouse, Mr. Zarecor was a member of the Yorkville Cumberland Presbyterian Church and served as the 2019 Honorary Chairman of the North Gibson Relay for Life.
Funeral services for Mr. Zarecor will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Yorkville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Officiating this service will be Rev. Travis Davison. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery in Yorkville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday, July 8, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Yorkville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Shanklin Zarecor of Yorkville, Tennessee; two sons, Jarrod Turner (Amanda) of Yorkville, Tennessee and Jonathan Turner of Yorkville, Tennessee; one daughter, Ashley Seratt (Tyler) of Yorkville, Tennessee; two brothers, George Allen Zarecor of Lavinia, Tennessee and Rusty Zarecor(Karen) of Estill Springs, Tennessee; two sisters, Betty Gail Welch (Stan) of McKenzie, Tennessee and Joan Kampfer (Gert) of Atlanta, Georgia and six grandchildren, Joely Turner, Malachi Seratt, Thatcher Seratt, Paxton Turner, Channing Seratt and Charlie Turner.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Zarecor, Jr..
Pallbearers will be Allen Zarecor, Steve Hull, David Hanks, Andy Zarecor, Jon Murray, Tim Hassell, Mike Galloway and Brad Guy.
