Jimmy Dean Volner, 61, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at his residence in Dyersburg,Tennessee.
Born Monday, July 23, 1956, in Los Angeles, California. He was the son of the late Cecil Volner and the late Maudie Alline Wade Volner. He was a superintendent for RFW Construction Company.
Graveside services for Mr. Volner will be 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee with Chaplain Brent Pearce officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by two daughters, Carol Thurmond (Gene) of Lenox, Tennessee and Amanda Volner of Newbern, Tennessee; five sisters, Gladys Rhul (Marvin) of Boiling Green, Florida, Brenda Hartley of Troy, Tennessee, Virginia Tennyson (Bob), Deloris Foster and Donna Kay Mallard all of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three brothers, Johnny Volner (Margie) of Whittier, California, Virgil Volner (Beverly) of Newbern, Tennessee and Jerry Volner of Dyersburg, Tennessee; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred (Polly) Stewart, Catherine Turnbo, Margaret Dunaway; one brother, Dewayne Volner and one grandchild, Daykota Volner.
Pallbearers will be Gene Thurmond, Tony Wade, Tim Wade, Mark Wade, David Hall and Rusty Hepler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Christopher Thurmond and Bronson Mallard.
