Jessie Mai Anderson, 81, of Hornbeak, Tennessee died on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at her residence.
Born on October 12, 1938 in Obion, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Walker Branch and the late Maggie Glass Branch. Mrs. Anderson attended school in Finley, Tennessee where she enjoyed being a member of the softball team. She was a former employee RCA in Memphis, Tennessee and Cracker Barrell and a member of the Antioch Church in Hornbeak, Tennessee. One of her hobbies was teaching children to dance.
Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Antioch Church in Hornbeak, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Brother Pat Murdock. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Anderson will be Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home and on Saturday from 10;00 AM until 11:00 AM at Antioch Church in Hornbeak, Tennessee
She is survived by her companion, Billy Ray Hutching of Hornbeak, Tennessee; four sons, Joel F. Anderson (Larry Brown) of Flint, Michigan , Kerry Anderson (Mary) of Elizabethton, Tennessee, Rick Anderson (Debbie) of McMinnville, Tennessee and Tony Anderson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Charlene Swiger of Lansing, Michigan and Debbie Drew of Ridgeland, South Carolina; one sister, Neda Hamblin of Dyersburg, Tennessee and forty-two grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Anderson; two sons, Kim "Bubba" Anderson and Donnie Lee Anderson, one sister, Mary Frances Sikes; three brothers ,Jessie Junior Branch, Hubert Branch and Thomas Branch; two son-in-laws, Bill Drew and Scott Swiger and one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family members.
