Jerry Wayne Perkins, 68 of Tiptonville, Tennessee died on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Monday, March 12, 1951, he was the son of the late Jessie Perkins and the late Golden Carrington Perkins. He was a retired mechanic from Perkins Tire and Service Center in Tiptonville, Tennessee.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Melissa Carol Hill Jernigan of Newbern, Tennessee; two brothers, William Joe Perkins and Ronnie Dale; five sisters, Wanda Sue Haynes, Linda Mae Williams, Patricia Lamb, Cindy Perkins Fisher and Connie Jo Perkins; two grandchildren Matthew Hill and Katelyn Hill.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to Reelfoot Rural Ministers, 6923 Minnick-Elbridge Road, Obion, Tennessee 38240.
