Janet Sue "Jan" Odom, 70 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare-Dyersburg Regional in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, July 24, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Baker and the late Alice Gaunt Cook.. She was a home-maker and former pre-school teacher for TLC in Newbern, Tennessee.

Cremation services are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by one son, Chris Odom (Misty) of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Angela Odom Funderburk (Royce) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two brothers, Bill Baker and Johnny Mullins both of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Mary McCoy and Kathy Dolezal both of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren, Dylan Odom, Madison Funderburk, Mason Funderburk, Lane Odom, Izzie Odom and Luke Odom.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ray Odom; one sister, Beverly Tibbs and one brother, Michael Mullins.
