James Monroe McCulloch, 79, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg,Tennessee.
Born Thursday, June 8, 1939, in Dyer County, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Mr. James Cecil McCulloch and the late Mrs. Pauline Tickle McCulloch. He was a farmer and proudly served his county in the Tennessee National Guard for twelve years.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Church Grove Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Mac Daniels. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 10, 2018, from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by one daughter, Melanie Jones (David) of Newbern, Tennessee; one son, Mike McCulloch (Laura) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Cecily McCulloch Agee of Lebanon, Tennessee; two brothers, Allen McCulloch (Beverly) and Paul William McCulloch (Paulette) all of Newbern, Tennessee; six grandchildren, James Brandon McCulloch (Emily), Meaghan Baker (Allen), Thomas McCulloch (Natalie), Lauren Brooke Binkley (Shayne), Emily Jones and Wesley McCulloch (Chasity) and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Glynda Faye Sharpe McCulloch
Pallbearers will be Brandon McCulloch, Thomas McCulloch, Shayne Binkley, David Barker, Allen Baker and Braiden Chism.
