James M. Green, 87 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at The Highlands Of Dyersburg in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Sunday, August 9, 1931, he was the son of the late James Gordon Green and the late Ruby Bell Green. Mr. Green was a self-employed Pharmacist, member of Main Street Church of Christ in Newbern, Tennessee and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Funeral services for Mr. Green will be 12:00 PM on Friday, January 25, 2019 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Jeff May. Visitation will be Friday from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, Tennessee with Bro. Eric Reynolds officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Turner Green of Dyersburg, Tennessee: two sons, David Maurice Green (Lori) of Columbus, Indiana and Benjamin Lee Green (Wendy) of Smyrna, Tennessee; two step-sons, Steve Green of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Jeff Green (Patti) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Lori Ann Grissom (Tim) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Holly Gale Law of El Paso, Texas; one brother, Franklin Rice Green of Ft. Worth, Texas; one sister, Bettye Jean Duncan of Madison, Alabama; fifteen grandchildren; one step grand-daughter and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Emilie Ernheart Green; one son, James Timothy Green; one daughter, Donna Alisa Cox, two brothers, Carroll Lynn Green and Robert Fleet Woodside and one sister, Billie Catherine Jackson.
