Glenda Y. (Hendrix) Davis

Glenda Y. Hendrix Davis, 63, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, August 2, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Friday, September 17, 1955 in Dyersburg, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Hendrix and the late Lola Turnbow Cantwell.
Mrs. Davis was a loving mother and homemaker and member of Fort Hudson Baptist Church.
Visitation for Mrs. Davis will be held Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home from  3:00 PM  until 5:00 PM. Interment well be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet Elaine Davis of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sisters, Mary Lee Kendell of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Gail Curtis of Bossier City, Louisiana and Jane Minton of Bossier City, Louisiana
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Allen Davis; one son, Glen Allen Davis; one sister, Vicky Hendrix Hooper and two brothers, Chris Hendrix. and Dewayne Azlin; her grandmother, Emma Z. Hendrix
In lieu of flowers the family ask memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
