Eva Faye Hudson, 76 of Humboldt, Tennessee died on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at her residence in Humboldt, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, September 19, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Joe Claybrook and the late Johnnie Craig Claybrook. She was a retired farmer, taxidermist and she served Gibson County as the first lady Road Commissioner. Mrs. Hudson was a member of the Gibson Wells United Methodist Church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hudson will be held at 12;00 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Gibson Wells United Methodist Church. Officiating this service will be Rev. Scott Hartman. Interment will follow in Old Gibson Cemetery near Trenton, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Gibson Wells United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Loretta Ellen Hudson Reed (Scott) of Iowa Park, Texas; three brothers, John Claybrook (Barbara) of Trenton, Tennessee, Marion Claybrook of Trenton, Tennessee and Robert Claybrook (Donna) of Puryear, Tennessee; two sisters, Nancy Jones (Paul) of Trenton, Tennessee and Debbie Hardin of Trenton, Tennessee and her buddy and pal, Gene Allmon of Yorkville, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Hudson.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Porter, Sammy Porter, Billy Porter, Gayle Kyle, Adam Claybrook and Scotty Harber. Honorary pallbearer will be Trey Jones.
