Eunice Idella Poteet Stover, 92 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Monday, May 27, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, November 17, 1926 in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Benny Edward Poteet and the late Drury Idella Featherston Poteet. Mrs. Stover was a retired employee of Morris Manufactuing and Wrangler. She was a member of Rehoboth United Methoidst Church and also attended Center United Methodist Church.
Graveside services for Mrs. Stover will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Rehoboth Cemetery. Officiating this service will be Rev. Dan Tilly. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She is survived by one daughter, Janey Stover Roberson (Philip) of Medina, Tennessee; her daughter-in-law, Pam Golightly Stover of Newbern, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Wendy Chandler (Chris), Becky Butler (Brian), Amanda Clark (Charles) and Jay Stover (Shannon); two step-grandsons, John Roberson (Kelli) and Joseph Roberson (Tammy);nine great-grandchildren, Bo Butler, Briar Butler, Taylor Burns (Allen), Gracie Clark, Cody Stover, Alex Stover, Kyle Stover, Jade Stover and Gage Stover; four step-great-grandchildren, Chandler Roberson, Grayson Roberson, Ella Kate Roberson and Maddie Roberson and two great-great-grandchildren, Clara Burns and Wesley Burns.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Frazier "Smokey" Stover and one son, William Edward "Butch" Stover.
Pallbearers will be Cody Stover, Kyle Stover, Jay Stover, Bo Butler, John Roberson and Joseph Roberson.
