Edward Lynn Chappell

Edward Lynn Chappell, 54, of Hornbeak, Tennessee died on Monday, July 30, 2018, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, October 19, 1963, in Jackson, Tennessee. Mr. Chappell was blessed with a gift to love and communicate with people. He dreamed that one day he would ride a Harley but until then he would settle for riding his four-wheeler. Assembling puzzles and watching model trains brought him much enjoyment.

Funeral services for Mr. Chappell will be 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 2, 2018, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Robert L. Gibson and Bro. Lynn Gibson. Interment will follow in Hornbeak City Cemetery in Hornbeak, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, August 2, 2018, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by his father, William David Chappell (Nancy) of Bartlett, Tennessee and his mother, Melva Gibson Dozier (Dennis) of Hornbeak, Tennessee; one sister, Leigh Ann Bishop (Billy) of Arlington, Tennessee; two nephews and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Logan Chappell and his grandparents, Ruben and Mary Ann Chappell and Austin and Maeoma Gibson.

Pallbearers will be Dale Dozier, Shane Dozier, Billy Bishop, Joshua Chappell, Noah Bishop, Rob Thornton, Rob Frederick and Robert Dean.
