Edith Owens

Edith Clark Owens, 79, of Kissimmee, Florida died on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
Born Tuesday, December 19, 1939 in Tatumville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Algie Clark and the late Hazel Webb  Clark. Mrs. Owens was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the New Day Baptist Church in Kissimmee, Florida.
Funeral services for Mrs. Owens will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, August 19, 2019 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Mr. Jack Pate. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee.  Visitation for Mrs. Owens will be Monday, August 19, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of sixty three years, George Dotson Owens of Kissimmee, Florida; three sons, , Mark Owens of Kissimmee, Florida, Tim Owens (Susan) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Phillip Owens (Dawn) of Martin, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, S. B. Clark, Frank Clark, George "Bug" Clark and Algie Clark, Jr. and one sister, Mary Douglas.
Pallbearers will be Larry Owens, Anthony Owens, Bradley Owens, Jeremy Williamson, Justin Johnson and J. T. Livezey.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the New Day Baptist Church, 1361 Mill Creek Circle, Kissimmee, Florida  34744.
