Earline Carrroll Evans

Earline Carroll Evans, 94, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee, surrounded by her husband, daughter and son-in-law, son, son and daughter-in-law and niece.

Born Saturday, November 8, 1924 in Minnick, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Bedford "Fred" Carroll and the late Bertha May "May" Chandler Carroll. Mrs. Evans was a 1943 graduate of Cloverdale High School, retired employee of All-Wear Manufacturing, homemaker and farmed with her husband and sons.

Graveside services for Mrs. Evans will be 2:00 PM on Wednesday,September 25, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Rick Willis. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband of seventy-one years, Samuel C. Evans of Newbern, Tennessee; two sons, Randy Evans of Newbern, Tennessee and Charles Evans (Melinda) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Linda Carroll Evans King (Jerry) of Millington, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, Kim Sims of Newbern, Tennessee, Stacie Purvis (Randy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Tony Chilcutt of Newbern, Tennessee, Mickey Evans (Lori) of Newbern, Tennessee, Tisha Evans of Unicoi, Tennessee, Katherine Evans of Newbern, Tennessee, Cortnee Wilkes (Jonathan) of Trenton, Tennessee, Calyn McMinn (Matt) of Trenton, Tennessee, Ashley Abbott of Nashville, Tennessee and Zachary King of Millington, Tennessee; ten great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Samuel "Sam" Carroll, Forrest Carroll, William Norville Carroll and her twin, Earl Carroll and three sisters, Hilda Lucille Carroll Harrison, Hazel Louise Carroll Cunningham and Mary Virginia Carroll Rottgering.

Pallbearers will be family members.
