Dorothy Parks

Dorothy Parks, 79, of Lexington, Tennessee, formerly of the Millsfield, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at her residence at Easter Seals in Lexington, Tennessee.

Born Monday, December 5, 1938 in Newbern, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Harry Parks and the late Velma Howell Parks.

Graveside services for Ms. Parks will be 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Zion Cemetery in Elbridge, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Serge Shoemaker. Visitation for Ms. Parks will be Thursday from 9:00 AM until 9:30 AM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by two nieces, Vickie Ramiriz of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Teresa Thurmond of Finley, Tennessee and one nephew, Stoney Thurmond of Newbern, Tennessee and a special friend, Shirley Walker of Newbern, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Ann Sikes and one nephew, Jackie Lynn Thurmond.
