Donnie James Wilson, 55 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Regional One Medical in Memphis, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, October 18, 1962 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Donald James Wilson, Sr. and the late Reba Jewel Pullum  Wilson. He was a caregiver, employee of Developmental Skills Center and member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Mr. Wilson will be 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 3, 2018 in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Mr. Chuck Morgan officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 form 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Heather Renee Wilson of Newbern, Tennessee; one son, Skyler Wilson (Jessica) of Ridgely, Tennessee; one daughter, Shelly Young (Jacob) of Paducah, Kentucky; one step-son, J. W. Griffin (Beth) of Roellen, Tennessee and four grandchildren, Anna Wilson, Dustin Marr Fowler, Jr., Millee Akins and McKayla Griffin.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Dustin Marr Fowler and his father-in-law, Alton L. Townsend.
