Darlene Crenshaw, 60, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at her residence in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Friday, September 25, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Herman Hawks and Ardella Joslin Meeks. She was a retired employee of Penguin USA.

Funeral services for Mrs. Crenshaw will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 28, 2019 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Phillip Senn. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Lynn Crenshaw of Newbern, Tennessee; one son, Roy Scott Stutts (Ginger) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Shawna Nicole Bishop (LaDarrian) of Union City, Tennessee and Felicia Dawn Crenshaw of Newbern, Tennessee; her mother, Ardella Meeks of Palmersville, Tennessee; one brother, Johnny Hawks of Roellen, Tennessee; one sister, Vicky Crabtree of Latham, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Hawks; one son, Jermery Allen Stutts; one brother, James Robert Hawks; one sister, Donna Eaves; one grand-daughter, Natalie Simmons and one great-grandson, Broden Ray Stutts.

Pallbearers will be Roy Scott Stutts, Austin Stutts, Scotty Ray Stutts, Justyn Johnson, Spencer Staggs and Brandon Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Bryant and Stanley Crenshaw.
