Claude O. "Cowboy" Marbrey, 74, of Trimble, Tennessee died on Friday, December 28, 2018, at Oakwood Community Living Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Sunday, November 5, 1944 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Claude O. Marbrey, Sr. and the late Maxine Moore Marbrey. He was a retired truck driver and a Baptist.
Graveside services for Mr. Marbrey will be 1:00 PM on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Cool Springs Cemetery. Officiating this service will be Dr. Bill Oakley and Ms. Linda Butler. Visitation for Mr. Marbrey will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Janette Scobey Marbrey of Trimble, Tennessee; one son, Ronnie Marbrey of Trimble, Tennessee; one daughter, Rona Craig (Stephen) of Newbern, Tennessee; two brothers, Paul Marbrey and Tommy Marbrey both of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sisters, Shirley McWherter and Jean McGuire both of Dyersburg, Tennessee; former daughter-in-law, Leslie Marbrey of Trimble, Tennessee and four grandchildren, Katelyn Marbrey, Cassie Marbrey, Anna-Kate Marbrey and Lily Marbrey.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Marbrey and Tim Marbrey and two sisters, Jewell Cathleen Marbrey and Clyda Marbrey.
Pallbearers will be James Edward Moore, Steven Anthony Moore, Edward Thomas Moore, Matthew Marbrey, Zach Marbrey and Lee Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Ring and David Ring.
