Cathy E. Montgomery

Cathy E. Montgomery, 62 , of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at The Highlands Of Dyersburg in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, February 16, 1956 in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Daniel Ables and the late Betty Cryer Ables. Mrs. Montgomery was a retired business owner.

Graveside services for Mrs. Montgomery will be 11;00 AM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at New Haven Cemetery. Officiating this service will be Rev. Danny Klutts. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 Am until 10:15 AM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by three sons, Travis Wayne Montgomery, Timothy J. Montgomery and Terry Wade Montgomery all of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Judy Kilzer of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry F. Montgomery; one son, Jason Thomas "J. T. " Montgomery; one brother, Danny Ables and one sister, Susan Matthews.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
