Carol Louise Tyler, 76, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at her son's residence in Newbern, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, June 3, 1943 in Cadillac, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late David Miller and the late Ethel Green Miller. Before moving to Newbern, Tennessee, in 1978, she worked at Four Starr Manufacturing in Cadillac, Michigan. In 1983 she, along with her husband, opened Dave's City Cafe in Newbern where it was said that she made the best hamburgers!!! In her spare time she loved to read books of all types. Watching Nascar was her favorite pastime and everyone knew she was a Tony Stewart fan but her Non-Favorites were Kurt Bush, Kyle Bush and Jimmy Johnson.
Cremation services for Mrs.Tyler are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She is survived by one son, Doug Tyler (Julie) of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Debra Langworthy (Morris, Jr.) of LeRoy, Michigan; one brother, Richard Miller of Cadillac, Michigan; one sister, Carolyn Fewless of Cadillac, Michigan; five grandchildren, Kristy Tyler (Holly) of Newbern, Tennessee, Morris Langworthy, III (Allison) of Big Rapids, Michigan, Spencer Clevenger of Norway, Harrison Clevenger (Ashley) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Jon Adam Beasley of Dyersburg, Tennessee; four great-grandchildren, Carlee Carter Middleton, Lillee Middleton, Colton Carter and Wyatt Clevenger and her beloved pet, Coco.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Tyler and one brother, Fred Miller.
The family would like to say a special thank-you to Avalon Hospice for the care and kindness that they showed to their family.
