Carl Junior Carr

Carl Junior Carr of the Viar Community passed from this earthly life on Sunday, July 7, 2019. He was retired from Heckethorn Manufacturing. Carl was born in Huffman, Arkansas Thursday, November 3, 1938 to the late Ervin and Lucille Carr.  He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and drinking coffee.  He became a Christian in his adult years and was a member of the RoEllen Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 47 years, Betty Allen Carr and their children Sandy Ellis and husband, Danny along with their son, Hunter of Newbern; David and wife, Brandy along with their children, Cloe and Cody of Millsfield,  His sister, Helen and husband, LeRoy Beary of Powhattan, Arkansas.. He leaves his wife's family Gurlie Allen Joslin, Dorothy Allen Powers, Dorothy Houston Allen, Lozell Allen, Horace Allen and Carnell Allen. He leaves a host of nieces and nephew also to treasure his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughters, Stephanie and Savannah Ellis, siblings William Carr, Buster Carr, Shirley Phillips and Betty Woodall.
Graveside Services for Mr. Carr will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. James Combs and Rev. Kevin Sellers.  Friends are to gather at the cemetery.
The family requests memorials be directed to RoEllen Baptist Church at 5868 Highway 104 E., Dyersburg, Tennessee 38024.  Your every act of kindness is greatly appreciated by the family during this time of bereavement.
