Billy Warren "Wild Bill" Copeland

Billy Warren "Wild Bill" Copeland, 77, of Ridgely, Tennessee died on Friday, September 28, 2018, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Monday, July 28, 1941 in Wayne County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Hassell Lee Copeland and the late Virsey Mae Brown Copeland. He was a farmer.

Funeral services for Mr. Copeland will be 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Greg Campbell and Bro. Marvin Wilson. Internment will follow in Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Copeland of Hornbeak, Tennessee; one brother, Johnny Copeland of Finley, Tennessee; one sister, Virginia Bailey of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Derek Wilson and Tyler Wilson; two step-grandchildren, Michael Bramlett and Marlana Bramlett and two great-grandchildren, Rylee Wilson and Emmy Wilson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Bell Copeland and six brothers, Eddie Copeland, J. C. Copeland, Harley Copeland, Lewis Copeland, Willie Copeland and Larry Copeland.

Pallbearers will be Jodie Reynolds, James Wilson, Dewayne Copeland, Anthony Copeland, Bo Copeland, Harley Copeland and Chris Brimm.
