Billy Ray Cox

Billy Ray Cox, 56 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, March 14, 1963 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Andrew Cox and the late Tilda Alexander Cox. Mr. Cox was a former employee of Honeywell  and a member of Troy Road Church of Christ in Obion, Tennessee.
Funeral services for Mr. Cox will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Troy Road Church of Christ in Obion, Tennessee Officiating this service will be Bro Terrance Mannis and Bro. Jesse Webb.   Interment will follow in MCCO Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee.  Visitation for Mr. Cox will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Troy Road Church of Christ in Obion, Tennessee..
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Lambert Cox of Newbern, Tennessee; three sons, Marqueston Watson, Tynell H. Watson and Demarius Watson, all of Newbern, Tennessee; three brothers, James Cox, Benton Cox and Robert Cox, all of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sisters, Renay Cox and Betty Boxley both of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Bobbie Henderson of Hartford, Connecticut and two grand children, Mia Krutsch and Kamauri Watson.
Honoring Billy Ray as pallbearers will be Michael Wiggins, Richard Barnes, Tony Lambert, Gary Gale, Charles Jordan and Greg Spears.
