Billy Lay, Jr.

Billy Lay, Jr., 74 of Paris, Tennessee died on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, July 13, 1943 in Dyer County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Rufus "Bill" Lay and the late Eloise Eaton Lay. Mr. Lay was a retired truck driver.

A celebration of life service will be 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Church Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Lay of Jennings, Louisiana; one son, Anthony Lay (Tanja) of Paris, Tennessee; one daughter, Debbie Ellis (Jere) of Reelfoot Lake, Tennessee; three step-children, Tony LeDouex, Rhonda LeDouex and Terry LeDouex all of Jennings, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Dalton Osborne, Danielle Spain and Sonja Lay and one step-grandchild, Kailee LeDouex.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grand-daughter, Tiffany Osborne.
