Barbara Stover

Barbara Lenell Stover, 71, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, May 14, 1947 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Chester Webb and the late Florence Jones Buchannon. She was a former employee of the Silver Castle, Dyersburg Fabrics, Sylvania and Maple Ridge Manor. Mrs. Stover was a faithful member of the Miller's Chapel Church of Jesus Christ.

Graveside services for Mrs. Stover will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Pastor Jeff Smith. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel C. Stover of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Sonya Lenell Putman (Jason) of Monticello, Kentucky; three sisters, Nancy Petty (Larry) of Newbern, Tennessee, Janet Greer (Jack) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Brenda Webb (Ronnie) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; four grandchildren; Zack Putman (Brittany) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Hannah Putman, Emma Putman and Kara Putman all of Monticello, Kentucky and two great-grandchildren, Mya Putman and Olivia Putman both of Dyersburg, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Webb.

Pallbearers will be Zack Putman, Jason Putman, Ronny Webb, Bill Dawson, Larry Putman and Paul Clark.
